      <image:title>About Me - Hi, I’m Julia.</image:title>
<image:caption>I grew up in the suburbs just north of Chicago, IL, and I carry the honest, creative and playful roots of my midwestern upbringing along with me. I’ve been drawn to healthcare for as long as I can remember and I feel lucky to have found a home for my interests in the field of Social Work which gives special weight to context, social justice and holistic wellness. I also have an education in Public Health and I strive to care for each whole person within their physical, cultural and spiritual environment. I feel exceedingly grateful to be able to care for my whole person as well. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors via activities on water, land and snow, and I enjoy the indoors via meditating, cooking, reading and watching movies. My husband, twin daughter and son, and our circle of friends and family are the loves of my life, and I find meaning in these relationships, my work and the stars. Pronouns I use: she/her Preferred Name: Julia</image:caption>

      <image:title>Therapy Approach - My Therapy Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>My philosophy is that therapy is centered in relationships: our therapeutic relationship, your interactions with those around you, and most importantly, your relationship to yourself. In our time together, we will touch on all of these and work with your core values to help you live a meaningful, easeful and authentic day to day life. I strive to create a relaxed, accepting and playful environment in the therapy space. Our time together is precious, but far more impactful is how you bring this work to your life outside of therapy. Sometimes this might mean using concrete tools that we agree would help you, and other times it might mean adopting subtle shift in perspective. My goal is to provide you with the therapy that suits you best, but you are always the expert on yourself! “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I change.” Carl Rogers</image:caption>
