Hi, I’m Julia.
I grew up in the suburbs just north of Chicago, IL, and I carry the honest, creative and playful roots of my midwestern upbringing along with me. I’ve been drawn to healthcare for as long as I can remember and I feel lucky to have found a home for my interests in the field of Social Work which gives special weight to context, social justice and holistic wellness. I also have an education in Public Health and I strive to care for each whole person within their physical, cultural and spiritual environment.
I feel exceedingly grateful to be able to care for my whole person as well. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors via activities on water, land and snow, and I enjoy the indoors via meditating, cooking, reading and watching movies. My husband, twin daughter and son, and our circle of friends and family are the loves of my life, and I find meaning in these relationships, my work and the stars.
